Gold MCX Trend

Weaker than expected U.S. GDP report prompted investors to park funds in the safe haven asset and we saw the Precious Metals Complex extending their advances on Friday after COMEX Gold Feb futures rose by 0.32 percent to $1,732.2 per troy ounce from $1,726.7 per troy ounce the prior day. Later in the night session after Fitch rating agency downgraded five Euro Zone member countries, the greenback recouped from its lows but still the Precious Metals held on to their gains. Investment demand for the yellow metal showed some strength after holdings at SPDR Gold ETF showed resumption of 10.0 tonnes on Friday.

A higher than expected rise in the Euro Zone sentiment data would support the Euro and Precious Metals while a fall in the U.S. spending compared to the analysts expectation would further support the Precious Metals Complex. Markets would also be eyeing the outcomes of the EU Summit and the Greek debt swap deal.

Copper Updates

LME Copper Feb futures closed down by 0.77 percent to $8,519.25 per ton on Friday while COMEX Copper Mar futures also edged down by 0.32 percent to $3.8890 per pound from $3.9015 per pound the prior day. Weaker than expected U.S. GDP report coupled with no news coming from China regarding easing of monetary policies kept the outlook of this metal demand low and hence prices were scaling down. Markets are also eyeing the Greek debt deal and the outcome of the EU Summit in Brussels today where the leaders are to discuss the region’s debt crisis.

Gold, Silver with Copper Updates

Today Gold Was very volatile & on uptrend, We expected gold will move 27870. Gold seems bullish from this level till dollar is is same phase. Gold can buy above the level of 27875, with SL of 27790. Spot gold prices rose around 0.5 percent on Thursday, taking cues from weakness in the US dollar, as a weaker dollar makes dollar denominated commodities look cheaper for the holders of the other currencies.

Silver MCX Trend

After a Strong level of 56990 silver again bounced back & sustain at 56830 & down. But here a good opportunity for buying in Silver above the level of 57110, if Silver breaks this level then it will go for 57400-500. Spot silver prices gained around 0.5 percent on Thursday, on the back of rise in gold prices coupled with a weaker dollar. Silver being an industrial metal also took cues from upside in base metals. The white metal touched an intra-day high of $33.78/oz and closed at the level of $33.43/oz on Thursday.

Copper Updates

Copper trade on high & seems to good for buying phase. After good position at International market copper shows good levels in Indian Commodity, because of dollar fluctuation copper may go for the level of 432+.

Today movement was very uncertain in Indian Commodity, Gold still with its previous position with little down trend while silver was down after hold long tilme position at 55600. Copper Updates

Copper was following gold & silver today, after stand on a level it was goes down. A little correction can arise in copper & it may move for up side if it will corss 421.20. Copper, the leader of the base metals, declined 0.5 percent on the LMEtoday on account of mixed sentiments in the global markets due to escalating worries over Euro Zone debt crisis. Additionally, a stronger dollar also acted as a negative factor. However, sharp downside was cushioned on the back of drop in copper inventories on the LME warehouses today. The red metal stocks declined by 1 percent to 342,250 tonnes, lowest since October 2009.

Gold looking consolidate from this level & sustain at the same level after world gold movemnt.The European Union finance ministers prepared to meet in Brussels today in early night session to discuss new budget rules, financial firewall to protect indebted states and the proposed Greek Debt swap.As per the latest release from the Commodities Futures Trading Commission for the period 10th Jan – 17th Jan, 2012, Money Managers increasedtheir long bets on the Precious Metals Complex while the prices of Gold and Silver surged by 1.48 percent and 1.07 percent respectively during the period. The Net long positions for the Non

Commercial Traders showed an increase of 2.46 percent and 20.97 percent during the period in Gold and Silver futures respectively.

Silver MCX Trend

MCX Silver seems bullish for today trading session, after dollar down silver continue on bullish side. Today from morning session was showing bullish trend & from the level of 56500 a clear buying level seems. COMEX Silver Mar futures surged sharply compared to Gold Futures and edged up by 3.82 percent to $31.675 per troy ounce from $30.509 per troy ounce the prior day. Investment demand for the white metal too remained muted as holdings at iShares Silver trust remained unchanged on Friday. Gold/Silver ratio showed that silver looked more preferable option. compared to Gold as the ratio slid down to 51.79 on Saturday from 52.41 the prior day.

Base Metal Trend

Base Metals complex sentiments were mixed as on side we had the declining LME inventories in Copper, Nickel and Lead while on the other side the stronger greenback and Chinese New Year Holidays prompted investors to liquidate their positions. COMEX Copper Mar futures pared their prior day gains and fell on Friday by 1.46 percent to $3.7450 per pound from $3.8005 per pound the prior day. LME Copper Feb futures fell by 1.76 percent to $8,216.0 per ton on Friday compared to the prior day.

MCX Gold Trend

Some good news coming from the investment side of the yellow metal when holdings at SPDR Gold ETF surged by 1.51tonnes, a feat last seen on 30th Nov, 11. South Africa's gold output fell by 4.5 percent in volume terms in Nov, 11 while total mineral production fell by 4.6 percent compared with the same month the year before. Production of non-gold minerals was down 4.6 percent, Statistics South Africasaid.

India changed the import duty on gold to 2 percent of value from the earlier flat 300 rupees per 10 grams and that of silver to 6 percent of value from 1,500 rupees per kilogram, the government said in a statement.

Copper Updates

Investor’s risk appetite recovered yesterday and we saw their funds entering the Base Metals Complex with COMEX Copper Mar futures showing a 2.54 percent rise to$3.7295 per pound from $3.6370 per pound the prior day. Today the data in the evening will also have an impact on the Base Metals Complex while bearish comments from the World Bank would weigh on the Copper prices.

China's refined copper production rose 14.2 percent on the year in 2011, with Dec, 11 output up 8 percent from a year earlier as smelters rushed to meet annual outputtargets. In 2011, refined copper production in the world's top copper consumer reached 5.179 million tonnes while output increased 2 percent from Nov, 11 to 457,000 tonnes,data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Tuesday. The December figure was the first monthly rise after hitting a record 518,000 tonnes in Aug, 11.

MCX Bullion Tips

Gold & Silver both precious metals are shwoing bullish. Silver up by al most 2.65% & seems more bullish from this level. If silver cross 54500 level then it will go for next high of 55000+. Same in Gold, Gold climed 0.83% in day trading & because of dollar weekness it seems more bullish.

A drop in yields supported by a rise in demand would support the Euro and also the Precious Metals Complex. Silver was also trading in green yesterday tracking the gold prices and it was the investment demand which was driving it. Spot Silver prices rose to $29.93 per troy ounce from $29.72 per troy ounce the prior trading day.

Gov. has changed import duty on Gold & Silver

Indian Commodity Live

India has changed the import duty on gold to two percent of value from the earlier flat 300 rupees per 10 grams, sending the shares of jewellery makers lower. The world's biggest importer of bullion has also altered silver import duty to six percent of value from the earlier 1,500 rupees per kilogram, the government said in a statement.

US crude oil imports in November rose to 8.874 million barrels per day (b/d), up 384,000 b/d, or 4.52 percent, over October, the US Department of Commerce said Friday. November's import figure was up 278,000 b/d over November 2010. Year-to-date imports though November was down 144,000 b/d to 9.118 million b/d compared with the same period in 2010. Nigerian oil union Pengassan said it will only shut down oil output as “a last resort” in Africa’s top crude producer to give more time for negotiations with President Goodluck Jonathan’s government to end a strike now in the second week.

Indian state-run National Aluminium Company (NALCO) has issued a tender for export of 30,000 tonnes of alumina for delivery next month on FOB basis..

The last date for submission of bids is on Jan17th, Ansuman Das, director, commercial, told Reuters. NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last sold 240,000 tonnes of alumina for deliveries in 2012 at 16.39% of the LME aluminium price on an FOB basis.

Gold is is under pressure due to dollar strength, In MCX india gold on down side but it seems bullish for the next trading hours & at any time it can be up. Prices seen trading with a mild positive sentiments, which is likely to continue till 27850 /940 levels . But major rallies can be expected only above 28000. Anyhow unexpected fall below 27550 region would trigger major selling towards 27400/250.

Silver also with gold side, a little down side movement is in Silver. But Intraday trend is bullish for Silver. While above 51200, the 53500 picture is still alive, but day’s moves may be limited to 52400 or utmost 53000. A direct dip below 51100, could push prices towards a target of 50500 or even further. Gold MCX Trend

Gold expected trade on high because of dollar prices. MCX,Gold February contract rose around 0.2 percent and was hovering around Rs 27,700/10 gms till 4.30 pm IST today. Though day’s bias may remain subdued while below 1610, a direct rise above the same could rejuvenate buying interest but unlikely to invite short covering rallies unless break above 1630 convincingly. For upcoming time we expect bullish trend in gold.

Crude Updates

Crude very volatile in current season, Nymex crude oil prices came under pressure today on account of dollar strength coupled with mixed sentiments in the global markets. However, sharp decline was cushioned on the back of supply concerns from Iran and expected fall in US crude inventories. Oil prices were trading around $102.87/bbl after touching an intra-day high of $103.15/bbl till 4:30pm IST today. The drastic decline in the Precious Metals Complex continued yesterday amid stronger greenback and mixed Italian Bond Sales which failed to meet the set target though the yields declined. Today the data release early morning showed manufacturing contraction in China, the world’s second largest economy and hence could be negative for the market and hence pressurize the Precious Metals.

Silver MCX Trend

Data supported silver & it again bounce backed from the last level of 49150. In COMEX Silver Mar futures on the other hand were moved by the industrial demand for the metal and closed the day on a higher note when they pared their declines and surged by 0.30 percent to $27.315 per troy ounce from $27.234 per troy ounce the prior day. Holdings at iShares Silver trust also remained unchanged yesterday. MCX Silver looking good for buying from the level of 51550+.

Crude Updates

U.S. Crude oil stocks increased unexpectedly by 3.9 million barrels to 327.5 million barrels when analysts expected a decline of 2.3 million barrels for the week ended 23rd Dec, 2011 from 323.6 million barrels in the prior week. Crude intraday trend is looking bullish & we ecpect more correction in crude.

Investment demand for the yellow metal remained unchanged yesterday at SPDR Gold ETF. Ireland’s European benefactors should take steps to create a firewall around the nation, as its prospects remain “fragile” amid the escalating euro-region debt crisis, the International Monetary Fund said yesterday. The crisis may hamper Irish economic growth, increase the cost of re-entering bond markets and make it harder for the country’s banks to sell off assets.

COMEX Silver Mar futures also surged along with Gold futures and surged sharply by 2.29 percent to $29.536 per troy ounce from $28.874 per troy ounce. Data release early morning today showed that U.S. American Petroleum Institute said crude inventories declined 4.57 million barrels to 330 million barrels for the week ended 16th Dec, 2011 to the lowest level in almost two years. Spot gold prices declined around 0.4 percent on Monday while prices on the Comex traded on a flat note. However, dollar weakness cushioned sharp fall in the yellow metal prices yesterday. Gold fell by R10 to R27,830 per 10 gm, while silver shed R350 to R52,650 per kg in the bullion market on Monday on reduced offtake at existing higher levels amid a weakening global trend. Traders said sentiment turned bearish after gold declined by 1% to $1,583.57 an ounce and silver lost 3.4% to $28.72 an ounce in Singapore, on concerns that Europe’s sovereign-debt crisis may be worsening.

A weakening dollar and short covering drove investors back into Gold on Friday, lifting prices to end a sharp four-session pullback that still yielded the biggest weekly decline in almost three months. Spot Gold rallied as much as 1.7 percent to $1,600.49 per ounce, and steadied at $1,596.40 up from a near 3-month low at 1,560.36 hit in the previous session. U.S. Gold rose 1.31 percent to close at $1,597.90 per ounce, after hitting a high at $1,598.10 per ounce. A slightly weaker dollar against a basket of currencies also helped boost precious metal prices. A softer U.S. currency makes dollar-priced commodities, such as Gold, more affordable for holders of other currencies. For the week, bullion lost around 6.60 percent, its biggest fall since late September. It remains vulnerable to a deepening euro zone debt crisis and rising funding stress. The need for cash has overwhelmed Gold's traditional tatus as a safe haven in the past few months, putting the metal on course for its first quarterly fall since end-September 2008 when the global credit crunch was at its worst. Gold has, therefore, benefited recently from developments that have reduced risk aversion and the flight to cash. It got a boost after Spain attracted solid demand for its bonds on Thursday, helping to ease concerns the country could be among the next to fall in the euro zone's debt crisis.

Spot Gold prices fell 3.5 percent yesterday, the MCX Gold Futures February contract declined 2.4 percent, taking supporting from the fall in the Rupee. Investment demand for the yellow metal at SPDR Gold ETF showed some resistance from the fall as holdings remained unchanged yesterday. Today we have a range of data coming from both sides of the Atlantic with major emphasis being on the U.S. Jobless Claims, U.S. Net long term purchased of the securities and U.S. Current Account Deficit.

Silver Updates

The investment demand for the white metal at iShares Silver trust remained unchanged yesterday while Gold/Silver ratio rose to 54.8 from 53.15 indicating investment strength in Gold being more compared to silver. Silver prices in the international markets have taken a beating as the commodity fell below the crucial $30/oz, losing 6 percent in intra-day trade. Prices on the MCX however, slipped only 4 percent on account of Rupee weakness which protected further downside.

Crude Updates

Crude oil Stockpiles fell 1.93 million barrels to 334.2 million for the week ended 9th Dec, 2011 from 336.0 million barrels in the prior week. Gasoline supplies increased 3.82 million barrels to 218.8 million, the highest level since March. For intraday level crude is down side while for long term it seems on uptrend.

Why Gold dropped

Gold steadied on Wednesday, after having neared two-month lows the day before in its largest monthly slide since September, prompted by the dollar's rise against the euro to 11-month highs as the European debt crisis roars on. Spot gold was last quoted unchanged on the day at $1,630.89 an ounce by 1111 GMT, set for a 4.2 percent fall this week, its largest weekly slide in nearly three months. Gold has lost about 8.0 percent in value so far this month, on course for its weakest December performance since 2008 and its third-largest monthly sell-off in three years, the point at which the global credit crunch was at its worst.

Gold dropped below $1,600 a troy ounce as the euro's slide below $1.30 renewed fears of a liquidity crunch in Europe, prompting a shift to cash. Gold traders took their cues from the euro, which slumped below a psychological threshhold for the first time in 11 months, stoking worries that Europe's economy and financial system are in far worse shape than previously thought. Gold for February delivery was recently down $73.20, or 4.4%, at $1,589.90 a troy ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, the first time the most-active contract has traded below $1,600 since Oct. 5. Gold's declines accelerated after prices slid below the 200-day moving average, which triggered automatic selling for some investors.

Why Silver dropperd

Silver prices tumbled 6% and gold retreated Wednesday as investors rushed to cash in their holdings amid continued disappointment that the Federal Reserve refrained from a third fiscal stimulus and worries about a weaker euro. A sharply weaker euro, which broke below the $1.30 for the first time since January, added to negative pressure on precious metals prices. Gold and silver are both priced in dollars and their allure is dulled by a stronger greenback, which makes these assets seem more expensive to buyers who use other currencies.

Europe's ongoing sovereign debt crisis continues to be a downbeat influence on precious metals prices as worries about a cash crunch eclipse investors' desire for a store of value asset. From August through December U.S. Silver drilled 21,433 feet of core in 46 diamond drill holes underground at the Coeur and Galena mines. Shares Silver ETF (SLV) was falling some 5% as the dollar rose to 11-month highs against the euro.

Silver MCX Trend

Bullion is in under pressure, silver trade on down side. Holdings at iShares Silver trust remained unchanged yesterday while Gold/Silver ratio made a low of 51.7 yesterday before closing at 53.15 from 53.61 the prior day indicating that silver is gaining investment strength against the yellow metal. Silver prices on the other hand declined by 0.5 percent in the international markets and Spot Silver prices are currently hovering around $30.57/oz.

Gold MCX Trend

Strong dollar impact clearly seems on gold, today in the evening session of the trade we have U.S. Import Price changes and a higher than expected reading would point to inflationary pressure and would support the Gold Prices, however the main focus for today would be on the Italian Bond Sales. Spot Gold prices came under pressure today and slipped to a low of $1622/oz till 4.30pm IST as dollar strength weighed on the commodity. Prices on the MCX however slipped almost 1percent as gold prices in major metro cities in India declined.

Crude Updates

U.S. Crude oil inventories rose 462,000 barrels to 334.6 million for the week ended 9th Dec, 2011 compared to the prior week, the American Petroleum Institute said today early morning. Investors will also eye comments by OPEC ministers gathering in Vienna policy meeting. The US Energy Department (EIA) is scheduled to release it weekly inventories report tonight and crude oil inventories is expected to decline by 2.5 million barrels for the week ending on 9th December 2011.

MCX India Gold Updates

Investment demand at SPDR Gold ETF was also hurt yesterday and we saw redemption of 0.6 tonnes on Gold. COMEX Gold Feb futures tumbled sharply by 2.83 percent to $1,668.2 per troy ounce from $1,716.8 per troy ounce the prior day on stronger greenback as Dollar Index surged by 1.20 percent to 79.53 from 78.59 the prior day. Gold again in green eye, its presently trade at 28940 & looking bullish from this level if it cross 29220 level. Today in the afternoon session of the trade we have Euro Zone and Germany Economic Sentiment Index which is expected to further decline and hence would be negative for the Euro and for the Precious Metals Complex. In the evening session of the trade we have U.S. Retail Sales which are expected to show a greater than prior month’s rise and hence would support the Dollar.

MCX Silver Tips

In other precious metal silver also with positive mode, at the day time silver fell by the weekness of dollar but at the time of evening its again bounce backed at trade above 56700+. Investment demand at iShares Silver trust remained unchanged yesterday while Gold/Silver ratio increased to 53.61 yesterday from 53.13 the prior day. Silver may go 57000 & if it will cross 57650 level then it woulb be in bullish trend.

Copper Tips

COMEX Copper Feb futures fell by 2.63 percent to $3.4640 per pound from $3.5575 per pound the prior day, but at present day copper show its uptrend which mentained by it on last trading hours at previous day. Copper sharply looking bullish & it would go for 410.05 again.

COMEX Copper Feb futures also ended the day in green on Friday and rose by 1.64 percent to $3.5575 per pound from $3.5000 per pound the prior day. Gold MCX Trend

The markets once again shifted their focus towards the Euro Zone and it were the dismal comments from the European Central Bank Chief Draghi which led to the fall in the Precious Metals Complex yesterday. Draghi also said lending money to the International Monetary Fund to buy Euro Zone government bonds was not compatible with EU treaties, though against that he did cut rates to extend liquidity provisions for stressed European banks. Gold looking bullish in intraday session & for log term it seems cosolidate.

Silver MCX Tips

COMEX Silver Mar futures also fell tracking along with Gold futures and ended the day down by 3.34 percent to $31.538 per troy ounce from $32.627 per troy ounce the prior day. Investment demand for the white metal showed resumption to a tune of 72.61 tonnes in the past two days while it was 42.36 tonnes yesterday. Gold/Silver ratio on the other hand pointed to weakness in the investment demand when the ratio came at 54.15 yesterday from 53.42 the prior day. If silver will cross 57500 level in intraday then it will go for 58000 level else for short term seeion it seems in consolidate phase.

Copper Updates

Weekly copper inventories in warehouses monitored by the Shanghai Futures Exchange rose a whopping 26 percent to 72,712 tonnes this week. COMEX Copper Mar futures fell by 1.57 percent to $3.5000 per pound yesterday from $3.5560 per pound the prior day. A little corretion can seems in the copper for today's trading session.

Nymex crude oil gained by 0.3 percent on Tuesday, on the back of expected decline in global supplies after the European Union stated that it may ban crude oil imports from Iran. On DOW Jones - Crude-oil futures mildly rose Wednesday in Asia, as the dollar weakened a little against the euro and regional share prices were broadly positive, while trade was sluggish as the market awaited any news on Europe. In MCX India crude oil trdae in positive mode & it can buy at higher level.

Copper Updates

In Copper major resistance is 416.25 if copper touch this level then it will go for 420, while support is 411.70. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in February rose by Rs 2.20, or 0.54%, to Rs 410.60 per kg, with a business volume of 6,671 lots. LME Copper trades slightly up in early trades today after a weaker session yesterday. Asian markets trade higher in early today tracking gains in US equities yesterday. Euro trades higher against dollar in early trades today after closing unchanged yesterday. Globally, copper for three-month delivery jumped up by 0.9% to $7,906 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange (LME).

Silver Updates

Today gold is on consolidate phase, today in the evening session of the trade we have U.S. Jobless Claims which are expected to remain below the 400,000 mark and hence showing signs of stability. We also have the U.S. Manufacturing PMI which is also expected show improvement and hence would be good for the economy. On the MCX, Gold prices declined around 0.3 percent on account of Rupee appreciation and was hovering around Rs29,040/10 gms till 4.45 pm IST.

Copper Updates

COMEX Copper Mar, 2012 futures surged sharply by 5.46 percent to $3.5755 per pound from $3.3905 per pound the prior trading day. The intervention of the six Global Central Banks coupled with Chinese intervention of the Central Bank to reduce the Reserve Requirement Ratio supported the RED Metal. Copper fall by 0.70% after touched it high level.

Bullion Trend

Investment demand for the white metal remained unchanged yesterday at SPDR Gold ETF which showed that investors still remained jittery over the crisis in Euro Zone and hence were reluctant to take any holdings in it. Today we have the Consumer Sentiment and confidence data coming from Euro Zone and U.S. which will affect the respective currency. Gold trading currently in side ways, Gold can buy if it cross 28750.

Silver is consolidate today untill the data will not come from US side, Here also the investment demand in the white metal remained unchanged which showed that lack of investment confidence among the investors. Gold/Silver ratio fell to 53.05 yesterday from 54.33 the prior day.

Base Metal Updates

Coppe trade well & if it will touch intraday level of 392 then will go for 396+ level for today trading, Today in the evening session of the trade we have U.S. Case Shiller House Prices Index which if come better than expected then would support the Copper prices.. Copper regain its position at last trading hours copper again bounce backed and finally closed at 387.25. Base metal leader copper if tomorrow cross 394 level & it would be in bullish trend else from the level of 376 its seems bearish.

Petrol prices may cut down by 1 Rs.

In near future petrol prices again drop down by 1 rs. Its clear indication from top level of oil companies that oil prices in indian are going to be down. Indian state refiners could cut retail prices of petrol by about one rupee a litre or 1.5 percent as softening Singapore spot petrol prices have offset the impact of a declining rupee, an industry source said on Monday. Gold Trend

Gold again in on green eye, its currently trade at 28715 and from this level we expect it will go for 28750 easily. Today once again it will be the bond sales of Belgium and from Italy that the markets will eye, especially from Belgium which had recently been hit by a downgrade by S&P. On last trading session the MCX, Gold December contract declined around 1 percent last week and touched a low of Rs28,303/10gm. In intraday session if gold cross 28850 then it seems bullish for the next level of 28950.

Silver Trend

Silver also in good mode, its presently trade under the level of 55250 to 55400, it seems good to buy at the higher level. Intrday trend is bullish in silver we recommned it for buy. The investment demand for the white metal also remained unchanged on Friday while the Gold/Silver ratio was 54.33 on Saturday from 54.1 the prior day indicating slight weakness in the silver investment demand compared to Gold. Week Dollar shows major impact on both precious metals.

Crude Updates

Crude up almost 2.40% today because of strong dollar, from this level we can expect it would be 5200 touch in near trading session. Bullion Trend

Gold again was active at evening session it move almost 300 points till the end of the trading. Gold made high of 28600, & maintan low at 28302 level. We can see global effect on both previous metal. Silver continue trade in under pressure & negative ways, under the sharp decline silver dropped by almost 950 points today & for few days we never expect correction from silver.

Crude shows some correction & finally closed at 5045, it would be trade for the level of 5085+ on next trading session, while in base metals copper was consolidate & shows negative trend.

Gold Trend

Gold continue on down trend, we expect gold will trade 28300-28380 in today's trading sesssion. Today due to dearth of any major economic data scheduled to release markets are expected to remain rangebound and with low volatility. Markets will lookout for any positive news coming from Euro Zone which might sooth the sour mood of the investors and they can once again revert back to riskier assets. In Current trading session silver seems bearish & might be trade around the level of 54250-54500. COMEX Silver Dec futures also fell along with gold and they ended down by 0.73 percent to $31.65 per troy ounce from 31.884 per troy ounce the prior day. Today still there is no major economic data scheduled to release and hence markets will look out for news based trading. Copper, the leader of the base metals pack, declined sharply by 1.5 percent on the LME and around 0.8 percent on the MCX till 4.45 pm IST today.

Gold Trend

Gold is expected to trade in lower side, in intraday session there is no correction seems. COMEX Gold Dec futures fell by 0.38 percent to $1,695.9 per troy ounce from $1,702.4 per troy ounce the prior day. Investment demand for the yellow metal remained unchanged yesterday at SPDR Gold ETF as the investors waited to get more direction owing to closing of the U.S. Markets today in the wake of Thanks Giving Day and also on mixed economic data dissipated from U.S. yesterday.

Silver Trend

The white metal touched an intra-day high of $32.20/oz and was trading at $32/oz till 4.45 pm IST. MCX Silver December contract declined more than 0.6 percent due to Rupee appreciation and touched an intra-day low of Rs55,126/kg till 4.45 pm IST today. Silver is in under pressure affected form global demand as well as domestic demand.

Gold MCX Trend

COMEX Gold Dec futures rose by 1.42 percent to $1,702.4 per troy ounce from $1,678.6 per troy ounce the prior day. Jitters across both sides of the Atlantic coupled with fears of slowing down of the global economy is creating panic across the all the markets while a weaker greenback also supported the rise. Today Gold almost down by 0.65% & seems to trade in under pressure. Payrolls increased in 39 U.S. states in October, while the jobless rate dropped in 36, indicating the labor market is steadying across much of the U.S.Investment demand for the yellow metals at the SPDR Gold ETF saw an addition of 6.05 tonnes of Gold holdings yesterday while that of iShares Silver trust remained unchanged.

Silver MCX Updates

Today we have a range of data scheduled to release which can affect the prices of the Precious Metals Complex in the evening session of the trade. The U.S. markets will be closed tomorrow on the eve of Thanks Giving Day. MCX Silver December contract rose sharply by almost 5 percent on account of Rupee depreciation and hit an intra-day high of Rs57,180/kg on Tuesday. Today Silver is expected to trade sidewise, no correction seems in trading, prices continuesly fall down.

Crude Updates

Crude oil inventories fell 5.57 million barrels to 335.7 million for the week ended 18 th Nov, 2011, the American Petroleum Institute said. Distillate fuel inventories fell 886,000 barrels to 138.1 million, the API’s weekly report showed. Gasoline stockpiles gained 5.42 million barrels to 209.6 million. Inventories at Cushing, Oklahoma, the delivery point for futures traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange, rose 791,000 barrels to 32.8 million. Today we expect crude will trade in rangbound phase, and on the other side supply concerns from Iran and expected fall in US crude oil inventories will provide support on the other hand.

Gold MCX Trend

Further selling on Monday in the Financial Markets was mirrored by the Precious Metals Complex and we saw investors liquidating their holdings in order to raise cash amid the worldwide slump in the markets. COMEX Gold Dec futures fell by 2.70 percent to $1,678.6 per troy ounce from $1,725.1 per troy ounce the prior day. On Indian Commodity MCX, Gold December contract declined around 0.6 percent as depreciation in the Indian Rupee resisted further fall on the domestic bourses and touched an intra-day low of Rs28, 339/10 gms yesterday. In today's trading session gold may cross 28685.

Silver MCX Trend

COMEX Silver Dec futures also fell get hit both by the safe haven demand and industrial demand and fell sharply by 4.01 percent to $31.116 per troy ounce from $32.417 per troy ounce from the prior day. Silver also looking bullish form this level & we expect that silver will touch 55750+ in current traing session.

Crude Oil Updates

U.S. crude futures capped the losses steadied near $97 a barrel on Tuesday as new Western sanctions against Iran offset pressure from a worsening Euro zone debt crisis. Investors fear oil prices could spike in the event of air strikes on Iran's nuclear sites, which could suddenly cut supply from OPEC's second largest crude producer and disrupt trade in the Strait of Hormuz, the world's most important oil transit channel. Crude is i bullish phase & it will go for the level of 5175+.

Gold Updates

Despite rising concerns with respect to the European economies, gold prices declined sharply by 3.7 percent last week mainly due to strength in the US dollar. Cheers came to the investment side when holdings at SPDR Gold ETF showed resumption by 3.63 tonnes on Friday signaling that the investment demand continued to remain strong even when we saw prices succumbing to technical selling.

Silver Trend

Gold/Silver ratio ended at 53.26 on Saturday from 53.08 the prior trading day signaling weakness in the investment demand for the white metal compared to the yellow metal. Holdings in the iShares Silver Trust, the world's largest silver-backed exchange-traded fund, decreased around 0.7 percent to 9,715.63 tonnes by 18th November from the previous 9,783.71 tonnes on 11th November 2011. Silver clearly seems on downside, because of doller strength & base metal decline.

In copper we can see downside fall, impact of doller strength & other factor fush to copper in to downdisde trend. China's top copper smelter Jiangxi Copper Co. and global miner Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc have agreed a 12.4 percent rise in term treatment and refining charges (TC/RC) for 2012 concentrate shipments, a Jiangxi Copper source said on Saturday.
